PRICE REDUCTION!!!!!This is a revised post from an earlier thread which also included a BERG cab which has now been sold. I have a Glockenklang rig which has a Heartrock II head with a US version Quattro 410 /4ohm cab. The cab has heavy duty removable casters and the head is rackmounted in a Gator ATA 4 space rack. I would prefer to sell the rig as a complete unit but will consider selling separately. I have adjusted the price from the last thread to $1,900 or $1,350 for the head and $550 for the cab. All three prices INCLUDE SHIPPING but in CONUS only. Pay Pal preferred. This is a fantastic rig at a " you must be outta your mind" price. PM me and we can discuss.
I am now offering this rig for a reduced price of $1,650 SHIPPED ( CONUS only). I'll go $500 for the cab and $1,150 for the head, if separate . I need to make room for a new bass which is in the process of being built. This is the last reduction I can do otherwise I'll be eating my right arm for dinner! If you EVER wanted a Glock rig in mint condition THIS is your opportunity. PM me if interested in this insane offer.
Well the rig is now sold and it went for $1,600. Now I can pay for that new bass I've ordered Thanks to all who expressed interest !
Pete

The rig was purchased new this spring and I am the original owner. I have the original packing boxes for the head( they use 2) but will have to repack the cab. There may be a couple of minor scuffs in the rack ears when I put it in the case but other than that it is mint. PM me and we can discuss. Thanks....

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Toronto, ON | | | I'm losing faith in everyone here. Are you guys seeing this? This guy is losing a solid $1300 -- maybe more -- on arguably the best big rig out there. In basically mint condition.
I'm going to go out on a limb and help a brother out here with some unsolicited opinions of mine. Since I can't afford it right now, I may as well help one of you in your deliberations on purchasing this.
I've played DB750s through GS410s, and, as lovely as those pair well, the Glockenklang stuff just kills it in my mind. It kills the TecAmp stuff; no reasonable comparison here. It's probably closest to the LMII in tonal profile, but with more depth and girth -- the same stuff that makes us love the DB750. The difference from the DB is the clarity and swiftness of attack. This thing is gorgeous for chordal stuff, and, despite its airy upper extension, it's not at all clanky. It's not like an F1. That head is burpy, grindy, clanky -- everything that this isn't. The build is exceptional. It's by far got the highest signal-to-noise ratio I've heard out of a bass head in a studio setting. The EQ is exceptionally effective. It even has a built-in overdrive effect at the gain stage, essentially to make digital clipping impossible. It has two channels. Good DI? God. This thing is like a Chandler.
Sigh. Help this guy out. He seems cool, and is clearly under financial pressures with new gear coming in. Don't make him humiliate himself any more with this criminal price. At $1500 for the head, it still would have been a steal.
Any questions? PM me or search my own threads.
The cabinet, in case you're curious, has the same dimensions and internal volume as the German version. Just has Eminence drivers, which, according to Glock themselves when I emailed them, are similar in any audibly detectable sense to the old, fabled Volts. Almost the same performance, swears Udo. |

The only reason I'm selling this is to fund a new bass I'm having made and I have another rig that does eveything I need for now...just don't need more than one rig. |

| | and it will work for you, too | | Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: The Winter Wonderland | | Yes and I am going to gig with it for the first time tonight.
For the type of playing I do with this band it's perfect, tight enough to keep up with what I'm playing and with enough grind for the sound that fits the format.
It's tight on the B and I can staccato with throttle | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
