Roland DB-500 D-Bass combo amp for sale.
160 watts into a 12" speaker with horn. Front ported. Onboard ability to save settings with A and B buttons to be recalled by a footswitch or the press of a button.
*SOLD!*
Specs and other info here:
http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/DB-500/index.html

User Manual PDF here:
http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/e...cd=261&iStcd=4

Digital modeling with Feed Forward Processing and COSM amp modeling technology. Can switch from clean solid state, tube, and tube drive via 1 knob. The tube drive sounds nice.

Onboard compression and chorus.
Controls on top are:
Seperate high/low bass inputs, gain, volume, compression, shape switch to emulate a 15" speaker, bass, seperate mid level and frequency controls, treble, chorus, master volume, and headphone in.

On the back are foot switch connectors for chorus and recalling saved settings, line out balanced 1/4" jack and an XLR type, send and return effects, ground lift switch and balanced XLR DI.
All settings except master volume can be saved to the A and B buttons. There are also some very useable factory pre-sets that can be called up by different presses of these buttons upon initial turn on.
Really nice sounding loud 160 watt amp, with the ability to get alot of different sounds. This thing is built like a tank also. I don't want to sell this, but my job still hasn't gotten any better, not enough work, so I need to thin thing out again. Check out the user manual download, it really gives a great account of what this amp can do.

$210 + shipping, continental US only. Paypal accepted. No checks. Shipping will probably be in the $50 range depending on where you live, via FedEx. Local pickup always ok, (Charlotte, NC area). I could drive a reasonable amount to meet up with a buyer. Feel free to ask any questions, I will be happy to answer.

Couldnt get a good answer from FedEx since I don't have it boxed up yet, and unsure what the final weight will be, (50lb amp weight + box + packaging materials), but I've shipped amps before (a couple bigger than this), and they weren't over $65.
So I'd say from here to Chicago it wouldn't be over $60.
I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I hope it helps. I probably won't be able to get it boxed and ready for wherever it will end up going for a couple of days yet.

I shipped one from Chicago to Tampa Bay. UPS. I packed myself. I think shipping came to about $40 or 45. Great combo by the way.

Thanks for the compliment on the amp. It is nice and versatile. If this damned economy would turn around I wouldn't need to sell it, but things as they are, I gotta do it.

Yeah, I always pack myself also, thing is I tend to overpack. I try to double box amps when I can; thus I end up using more material which of course adds weight and cost. I just hate getting into a situation where a buyer's not happy cause something broke/got damaged in transit, then getting the shipper involved (they just love that), monies are held up, and in the end, neither party is happy.

It's possible I could ship it for that.

I have the 15" version of this combo, ( db700 ), and it has been my workhorse for 6 years. Wonderful sounding combo with a great compressor, very loud. If the 500 is anything like it, this is a great buy.
