For Sale: Bergantino EX112er "Extended Range" custom re-finish, 8 ohm

I picked this cab up recently from a local TB'r but my gigs have since changed. Jim B's EX112er has been my dream cab for quite a while and it hasn't disappointed. Awesome tone, really cranks out the power at 350w, I've been using it with my MB Walkabout and have been getting lots of compliments. The best 1x12 I've ever played.

The carpet finish has always been the one thing I disliked about these cabs but a previous TB'r owner decided to refinish it. I see it as an improvement as it doesn't collect hair or wear like ugly rat fur. The carpet was removed and cleanly redone in a Line-X-type finish. The top handle was removed and replaced with a strong, recessed handle on the side that makes it cleaner looking, easier to place an amp on top, easier and less awkward to carry. The top also has 4 shallow, round indents to fit the feet of an amp. The corners also seem to have been replaced. Overall I think it's an improvement (no offense to Jim). The finish and whole cab looks good, though there is a scrape on the back corner that I tried to show in the photos. Comes w Bergantino branded fitted, padded cover.

I'm upgrading to an 8x10 so this guy has to go.

$350 plus actual shipping (from either Langley, Canada, V2Y 0A8 or Blaine, Washington, US 98230). +/- $ for trade offers will be considered.

the "official stats" put it at 40lbs, but it feels lighter and easier to carry than that, especially w the sturdy side-mounted handle. Maybe the carpet was lead-injected and it shed some weight when it was replaced :O

Yes, and i edited my post so its clearer.

I've been using it w a Walkabout Scout 12" combo ( which sounds killer together ) and the Berg has been far easier to carry, though there's only a 10lb weight difference. It may be the top-mounted handle on the Scout vs. the added recessed handle on the Berg, don't know, but i'm sure the Berg was more awkward before when it had the original top-mounted handle and had to be carried horizontally (vs length-wise, like now).

Bump. This guy kicks the butt of my new 8x10 but isn't as loud, so he's anxious to go to a new home where he'll be used!
