Im selling my Mint ungigged Bugera. They have a tendancy to fail, according tho this and other forums. But I've found the problem-the quiescent (standing) current iset far to high. Mine was over 2 amps for the power amp and fan-and the fan only draws .1A at full tilt!!
I've reset the bioas current, and measured the distortion(well in spec). Now the amp delivers a littlle less power 475W approx, but sounds great and does not spit and splutter or go into melt down like some of the others mentioned in the forums
This reduction in power does not really make any difference, as to double the SPL, or level of an amp- spkr combination, you times the power by 10 approx!
It does not run as hot as it did, and was soak tested for a day.
