I bought this amp a few months ago, It's a great amp, hugely powerful, has nice tonal variations & great compressor, etc., but for some reason these don't come with thermostatically controlled "quiet" fans...
That loud and constant "whirrrrr" is enough to drive anyone crazy unless you're always playing really loud, and would make it impossible to use in a studio or quiet setting.

So, I ordered and installed a thermostatically controlled "quiet" fan.......Now it's now the perfect amp!

(if you want the original fan, I'll send that too)

The amp is Absolutely Silent, and stays cool - Delivers much more power than i need now as i am playing small venues. For larger rooms, I've never had to turn the Master Volume up past 9o'clock with my David Eden XST-410 Cabinet, and at that, it's a ground-shaker! This amp rocks, no issues, only 11lbs - it's just more than i need right now.

Deal fell through, I've decided to keep this one, and sell my (American Made) WT-1205 instead, maybe it will sell easier than the WTX import, so I'll close this thread and start a new one.
