| For Sale: Mesa Carbine M6 and Gator GRB-3U
I just purchased this here from another TB'er a month ago. I took it to rehearsal and it is a beast of an amp, tone to die for, except that my band leader wanted to kill me too because it is a LOUD amp!!
PRICE DROP UPDATE: I was originally asking 850 shipped, I have now dropped it to the rock bottom price of $750 shipped, Gator case included for free! I'd rather ship this in the Gator Case for extra protection, even though it will cost me more money to ship due to the added weight. My loss is your gain. This will be the last price drop before I send this off to ebay. I just wanted to give my fellow TB'ers an opportunity on a GREAT DEAL for a GREAT amp!
So why? This is just way too much amp for my application, especially with always having PA support. The last TB'er said that it was serviced at Mesa back in 2011 for upgrades concerning some of the heat issues of the older models which I confirmed with a call to the factory. Btw, this amd did NOT have heat issues prior to the updates, it was just done as a precaution. The last TB'er never had a problem with it, and I rehearsed for 4 hours straight with it with no issues at all.
So if you are looking for a beast of an amp, this is for you. It can be big, fat, and warm, but can also be a GK on steroids.
