I hate to put this cab up for sale, but It gets no use and I am not playing much these days. This cab has been babied, NEVER GIGGED, smoke free environment. This cab is in pristine minty mint condition. It has made it to a few jam sessions and thats it.
1210 regular version rated 850 watts RMS, respectively, and is 4 ohms . This cab comes with Schroeder cover.
$549 each for local pickup or $599 each shipped to the lower 48 states; USPS Money Order ONLY; I will ask for feedback from all potential buyers.

I'm guessing it's just a matter of people buying them only to find out the cabs' voice doesn't quite suit them. Your situation is different, but I'm hoping because you have two different ones you can give me some kind of feedback as to what these cabinets' voice is.
I'm almost exclusively playing active 5-strings (Zon, Lakland, Stingray), finger-style, and most of my gigs are either blues, classic rock/R&B, or Americana. I work mostly in clubs, but do a fair number of festivals and outdoor gigs. Do you see either of these cabs fitting into this scenario?
Thanks.
Bill

I can't give you a thorough assesment of the performance of these cabs in club settings. But I have taken them to several jam sessions( some outdoors, most in studio settings).
You know the frequencies you dial in when you are getting lost in the mix. Well, these cabs are voiced just for that. They have a strong low mid punch that is easily heard. They are very easy to transport (about 50 lbs ea.) and most of the time you only need one. They dont have a deep rich sound if that's what your after. But then again, a deep rich sound gets lost in the mix anyway (unless you have 18's )
It is hard to say if they would work for you. Go to the Schroeder website and you will see that players of all genres and extended range instruments use these cabs. Some people here on TB do not like the tone, and some love it.
I would like to keep them, and may just do that if they don't sell. But right now I am not in a hurry.

I got my back messed up for me in an automobile accident last year and some of my stuff is just too doggoned heavy to lug around anymore.
I've had the Epi UL series on my short list, but now I'm thinking I should put Schroeder on there as well. Since you're not in a hurry to sell, I'll take some time and see if I can't get to hear either of these cabinets locally. Thanks again.

For regular club gigs you only need one Schroeder- it really throws the sound. For a cab that sits so low you can really hear it without having to angle it or anything. |

I can't imagine needing both of these cabs. I gig regularly with just one 1212R(and a GK1001-RBII) and have honestly never needed more power. It would have to be either insanely loud or a very large stage (arena tour w/o monitors) to need more than one of these.
That said, the stack looks pretty cool. |
