Schroeder 1212R

What a great cabinet! The Schroeder 1212R is a 2-12 cab that's rated at 1,000 watts with a 4 ohm load in a size slightly bigger than a 1-12 cab. It weighs 50 pounds or so and is in excellent condition. I have purchased all new locking corners but have not installed them yet as I am still using it from time to time. This cabinet works great as a stand alone or matched with other cabs. I bought it new from Jorge I think about 4 years ago and it has been very good to me!
Sadly, my new rig will not support more than one of these so I had to go to 2-8ohm cabs. Will ship to lower 48
$450.00 shipped, $400.00 local pick up.

Schroeder

I played through an Ampeg 810 cabinet for 20 years and it sounded great hen I was standing in font of it but when I decided do wonder over to the guitar player, I would loose my sound so I had to stay close to the amp. About 4 years ago I met and play a double bill gig with a bass player named Chuck Folds, he is Ben Folds brother (both are fantastic bass players). He saw me getting ready to unload my SVT cab and he ran out to stop me. He said "man, you can bring that in if you want, but you should try my new speakers, they are killer". Well, they were. The biggest thing was that I could go anywhere on stage and my sound did not change, not at all. Everyone in the band said they could hear me so much better. There is something special about the second 12" speaker that is "chambered". I think this s key to spreading the sound around. Sorry for the long story but it is absolutely true. The sound goes everywhere! That following Monday I ordered my own Schroeder.

and normally, you played through only one of these cabs? I need a cab with a little more headroom. I had two Carvin BRX 10.2 Neos, and blew one with my Markbass LMIII. Now, I use the other cabinet carefully... constantly making sure I don't go past a certain volume (which really, really sucks).

I haven't heard anything but good things about Schroeder, but never had the opportunity to play through one. How do you think the LMIII would do with it?

Schroeder

I have used this cabinet for about 6 months heavy with a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 with no problems at all. I play every weekend sometimes twice per weekend so it has really taken a work out. The cab is rated at 1,000 watts continuous so I can't believe you would ever blow this baby.

I used my 1210R with a Markbass LM2 for years and I can't think of a single gig where I was lacking in volume. I gigged it just before I sold it against a Marshall and Fender half stack, including their meathead drummer and I kept up with them all night. There's a video clip included in my classified listing. This combo is ridiculously efficient. I used to love playing fill in gigs with that rig just to see the looks on their faces when I cranked it up.

I really want this cab. Looked up lots of info on it. Hopefully my tax return arrives quickly, before someone else buys it off of you

Now Buffalo, if you happen to have a Sadowsky bass laying around that's up for grabs, let me know. 4 string or 5, wouldn't matter to me

If I did, that would be awesome that I could afford one to begin with. ;-)
