Well, I'm selling my HBP-1. I won't gush about how great I think it is, but it is in excellent condition and very clean, with a slight case of rack rash, but otherwise perfect. It ships in original packaging with all the original literature.
Sounds as good as the day I bought it new direct from Demeter 2 years ago. I'll even throw in 3 extra tubes of your choice with it, (I've got a handful of different 12AX7s to choose from, nothing NOS, sorry) since I'll be going solid state. Right now it has a 12AX7LPS which I think is a great match up. PM or email me with any questions, THANKS!!!

Sorry bout that, I guess the timing was kind of wonky on all that trading and swapping recently. I wish I would have known about this a few days ago!!!
I'm glad you're liking the 659, its really nice. If you find you need something tighter sounding, let me know, the HBP-1 is a great preamp, best I've found for that sound in this price range!! Pretty different from the Aggie.
I guess I'll have to wait on the gordo for a while, too much gear, not enough cash!! |
