Standel Artist Super XV / FS $300

Standel Artist Super XV solid state amp with cover in FC. $300 cash & carry.
(2) OEM 15" drivers, 1 in need of repair. One cab side has scratched up tolex, but the grill cloth is in vgc.

Here's the story... (there's ALWAYS a story.)

Yes, it works but I've never used it on a gig. I took it in a trade a while back but haven't gotten around to restoring it. I pulled the drivers out to make it easier to move around as it's kind of a beast.

Maybe you're in a groovy 60's band and want this amp to get that vintage sound and complete your stage look?
I'll even help you carry it to your (hopefully large) vehicle.

Local sale please, as shipping costs would be pricey.

I had one 1968 - 1970. I have the full-page ad for it with specs and retail pricing. Do you still have the wheels?

Wheels? Nope, never got 'em. Just the giant vinyl cover.

Just curious, what was the retail price when new?

First models had inputs facing the front and the controls facing up. Wheels were on the side and were attached with wingnuts. Second model (what you have) had all controls facing the front and the wheels were on the bottom. It's listed in the ad as model C-30 with 2 x 15," 100 watts, and listed for $820 combo, $22 vinyl cover, and $15 for the footswitch. If I can figure out how to post the photos I'd put them here. They are both B&W magazine ads for Standel.

I wish this were local. A friend of mine gigs with his and has for years. Got it in VA for about 200 and it sounds AWESOME with a passive pbass and boy is it LOUD.....bump!
