Stewart World 2.1 Power Amp w/ Speakon Patch Strip

Sign in to disble this ad
I own two of these. Bought the first for my "big" bass rig after reading countless glowing reviews here and elsewhere online. I found a second about a year later and it went into my PA's poweramp rack to run the mains. Unfortunetly, building up a PA rig that big proved silly since none of my projects aren't doing gigs big enough to need it, so I'm selling off most of the PA setup and just keeping enough to do the local bar gigs I seem doomed to play. But since this amp really should be in a bass rig, I'm listing it here rather than on the pro sound forums.

This amp was used probably a dozen times over 3 or 4 years and has bee sitting in a road case for the past 3 years unused. I had it out a few weeks back to take some pictures and test it out and besides some dust, it's still 100%. One or two light scratches on the top and bottom from life in a rack, but in perfect shape on the face and of course works beautifully!!!! Read the reviews and posts here, these things are rock solid and loved by all.

The speaker outputs are binding posts, so I will include a custom built Speakon patch panel. You just hook the binding posts up, tighten them down, mount the panel and you can use Speakon cables.

I'm guessing if you're looking at this, you know this amp but if not:

1800W Bridged @ 4 ohms
1300W Bridged @ 8 ohms
800W Bridged @ 16 ohms
900W x 2 @ 2ohms per channel
650W x 2 @ 4 ohms per channel
400W x 2 @ 8 ohms per channel
Frequency Response +0dB, -3dB – 20Hz to 20kHz
Signal-to-Noise Ratio - >100dB
Input Type: XLR or 1/4" TRS/TS
Input Sensitivity – 1v (0dBV)
17 lbs
3.5”H x19”Wx15”D

The manual can be found at:

http://www.stewartaudio.com/manuals/...-%20Manual.pdf

I know Class D amps are all the rage now but 17lbs ain't bad and this amp is really a cut above. Asking $400. I'd be happy to ship on your dime in the US. International will probably cost too much to make sense. Not looking for trades at this time. Thanks for looking.

BTW - Since this is my first time trying to sell here, I can trade phone numbers if it helps. Also I have over 500 positive feedbacks on ebay, I go to church, people seem to like me, etc.

Thanks Pedulla-2007. I guess times are tough and folks aren't too eager to part with their hard earned cash. Too bad. This is a great amp and as you mention, a good price.

I actually made the Speakon Strip. I bought a a single space strip and used a metal circle saw bit to cut the holes. I do this on my PA rigs too so I can have access to all my inputs and outputs at one spot. Much easier in live situations. I think I got all the supplies from Markertek. The graduated metal saw drill bit will set you back about $60 and you'll need a drill press. But if you make a few of these, it's way cheaper than the pre-fab punch out versions.

Yes - Amp is still available.
