Sunn 300T w/ matching Sunn 2x15

Ok, I am sizing down a little since the band breakup. I have a Sunn 300T with one year old Tung-Sol 6550's. For those unfamiliar with this head, it is the same as the Fender Bassman 300 pro. It is in great condition with just a couple marks on the tolex- but nothing major. It is extremely LOUD, versatile, big, and heavy. If you are looking for massive tube volume, this is it! I also have the matching 2x15 that goes with it. It has casters which makes moving it easy.

I am looking for $1100 for the set and local pickup for now!

I am an 1hr and a half from Tulsa and Springfield, Mo (Fayetteville AR area)

Might ship the head in the future if it comes to that, but would like to keep the pair together if I can.

Yeah it is a steal... too bad I don't have that kind of money laying around and geez, only about 6hrs away.

Geez, that's almost like getting the cab for free. The 300T is a great amp. Hope it finds a good home.

Nope. I have a guy locally who says his bass player might be interested, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Someone come get this!

I ordered a 300pro from a local store under the impression that it would be about 10 days before I got it. That was a month and a half ago and I'm thinking I should tell them to cancel it and then buy your amp. Is the cab 8 ohms?

Cab is 8 ohm. This is local pickup for now, btw. Anyway, I would say that the tubes in this head are a considerable upgrade compared to a new one from Fender.

(3) new JJ/Tesla 12ax7

(1) barely used (couple hrs) NOS Mullard 12at7

(6) 1 yr old Tung-Sol reissue 6550's. These have @ 75 hrs total time on them.

This whole time I had RCA 5751's in the pre (that was what was in it when I got it off ebay). I pulled those and stuck in some new JJ's 12ax7's I had lying around the other day. WOW! Sounds alot louder and grittier. Now I am kinda torn on wether to just keep it until I really need the money!

All right, head is on ebay and I will ship it! Cab is on hold already! Apparently it is a hot item, as I have had multiple inquiries on it from the ebay add and hadn't even listed it yet.

Sad that you are selling it.

I have a 300T and it's the one piece of gear that I've made untouchable. I'll never trade or sell it. But obviously you're going that route, so good luck in your sale.
