Due to circumstances, I have been forced to sell my beloved SWR Basic 350.
This amp has treated me, and and my band well. This is the model that SWR made for one year in 1994. It has the automatic fan thermostat that works just the same way as any thermostat works. I like this feature because on my newer SWR Bass 350, I always forget to turn the fan on.
This SWR Basic 350 is in the family of amps that were HANDMADE and wired in Sylmar, CA when SWR was considered a boutique amp company.
It is 350w @ 4 ohms and 450w @ 2 ohms. Yes, you can power TWO 810 towers with this 17lb wonder !
I love the simplicity of this amp. Minimal knobs do it justice. If you need a lot of knobs to get great tone, then you're doing something wrong.
This is the ONLY SWR bass amp that can be used as a preamp only. Use it without a load and go direct into a recording board, or use the DI line and go into a power amp.
I play this amp through an SWR Workingman's 810 tower and it sounds amazing. It has the perfect blend of hi-fi and growl.
I am ONLY selling the amp. The photo is of the amp in my road case. I'm keeping that. This amp doesn't have a sratch on it, and the pots are silent. Works and sounds as it should.
$360 shipped in the lower 48 USA.
Thanks - Mike B.
