SWR Cabs (PREFER TRADE)

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got a Son of Bertha 1x15 and a Goliath Jr. III 2x10
I'm only looking to get rid of one and I'm not attached to either cab, so take your pick.

Both cabs are 8 ohms, and I believe 350 watts.
In great condition. Just minor scrapes on the plastic corners from being stacked.
(I'll take pics for someone who's serious)

I know it's a long shot but I would prefer to make a deal locally if possible because I lost my day job and I don't know how much the cab will cost to ship.
(North Texas area, I'm in East Dallas [75228] to be specific)
I'm not opposed to an outright sale, but I don't know how to value these cabs since they're no longer in production. Also I don't know how much shipping would be, but the buyer would have to pay it.

Trade Bait:
MY KINGDOM FOR A HEAD!!!! I'm in desperate need of a decent bass head, or even just a power amp. I've got a DI that I think would work as a preamp.

I'm thinking at least 300 watts, but I'm impulsive, I love looking at other ppl's gear and itching to play out, so lets see what you've got.

Not picky about brand. SWR, or GK would be great hell even a Peavey head (but I might get laughed at by my bandmates if I show up with an Acoustic or Berhinger)

OH!!! I almost forgot!
I make vinyl decals for friends bands, they're great for promo pieces, tour vans, logos for bass drum heads, pretty much any hard/non-porous surface. I can send pics of samples of my work if you want some decals to even out a trade deal.

Someone asked for pictures, so here's a preliminary picture I took with my phone.

As you can see I got a Crown power amp now, so I'm not as desperate for a new head, however it's not an ideal set up so I'm still looking (but I got it for 55 bucks so I can't complain)

If someone wants higher quality pics then I can but out my Canon.

Is that Crown. DC300A? No wonder you are looking for something else. Those things weigh a ton plus change!

hahaha, good eye yes it it.

I actually posted this ad before I got the Crown.
The asking price was 65 bucks on CL because one of the channels is blown, but I got the guy down to 55.

But you were right on one thing. It's a friggin BOAT ANCHOR! I swear it weighs about as much as the cab it's resting on.

How far technology has come in 15 years...
