SWR Silverado Special Combo Amp

Hi Guys,
Up for sale is my SWR Silverado Special Combo Amp. This 2x12" + foster horn combo was used on about a two dozen gigs, never pushed and always babied. The combo is rated at 350 watts at 4 ohms. I used my SWR Goliath Jr cab (sold) with this combo, boosting the wattage to 450 watts @ 2 ohms, but never played a big enough hall with this amp to really push the master past 5. This combo has been used for home use only for the past 3 years, since I picked up my eden rig. The cab is in very good shape with no operational issues whatsoever. The carpeting shows light wear, with wear spots on the top of the cab , with some pilling on the back-top edge. The 12AX7 tube is stock (never needed to change it!!).

I am asking $400 for the amp, I accept paypal and will split shipping via UPS ground, insured. Pick-up is fine and will make arrangements for delivery in the NYC/Long Island area if requested. Have more pictures at the ready. Please ask any and all questions. If you live on or can get to the Long Island area and wish to try out the amp (my house, your house, studio, etc.) that would be fine with me. Thanks again for looking!

Bump for a gret combo! This model was my first "real" bass rig, and it served me well for many years. The tone is deep, while maintaining great articulation. And this combo is loud! I had the Goliath Jr. cab also, and just never needed to use it. I think this combo is one of SWR's best. IMHO, it beats the Super Redhead hands down, and I'm sorry I made the enormous mistake of selling mine a couple of years ago. It's taking all the restraint I can muster to not pull the trigger on this one!
