This classic bass amp is in great shape and provides plenty of power and flexibility...some amp modeling pedals actually include the SM-400 among their possibilities!
The amp puts out 400 watts into either 8 ohms or 4 ohms in bridge mode, or use each power amp separately to provide 240 watts at 4 ohms. This is definitely a pro-level piece of equipment, with a preamp tube (a premium JJ ECC83!) at the input, a 5-band graphic EQ, treble/bass controls and aural enhancer. There's also an adjustable limiter and a great DI for going out to the PA or recording console. Something particularly nice is that this amp uses passive cooling, so that you won't hear any fan noise during a recording session.
This amp comes mounted in a 3-space Gator rack bag for easy carrying and sturdy protection, plus a big pouch on top for storing cables. I will also include some speaker cables, since the SM-400 uses a somewhat uncommon banana plug in bridge mode. The other end of the cables are terminated with either Speakon or 1/4" plugs. As a bonus, I'll toss in a whisper-silent fan that can be placed in the back of the amp when you're playing at high levels or on hot outdoor gigs.
Both the bag and amp are in excellent condition.
