SWR SM400 Head

works perfect. Just had the inputs replaced on the front and the knobs all cleaned by a local shop. .

Here is a picture of my gig setup. i'll get some closer images tomorrow if someone wants them.

Does not include the rack.

I had one for sale here a little too cheap, awhile back... but it may be that yours is a little too high; I don't think anyone's paying quite that much for one of these. Not that it isn't a great amp, but the money's in the new stuff these days- or the old tube stuff... or older Acoustics (also Steve Rabe's engineering)- again, which will go for a little better than half your asking $ for this SWR here...

A fine amp, in any case.

I currently have it on ebay where they tend to sell for a little more.

i'd be open to local trades for a nice 15" cab or a 4x10 cab that is 27" or so wide (on some side)

I might keep it as a backup just in case something happens to my ampeg v4

.. but i'll keep it up here. it has been gone through and serviced. works perfect. thanks for the heads up. I dont really need to sell it so i dont mind if it sits on here for a while

its an awesome head. I ended up with an ampeg v4 that i reconditioned and need the money for a 2x15 70s ampeg cab locally to match up with it.

i will probably kick myself for selling the swr since it sounds awesome and is super reliable. running a tube amp with no backup probably isnt the wisest move i'll make this year lol .. but i need the cash to either get this cab if its still available or pay some toward the transmission i just had rebuilt on one of my plow trucks
