Tecamp PAD 1500 Digital Amp made in Germany

A power amp for bass appears to have a simple job: The excellent tone from instrument and preamp must be made as loud as possible – fast and accurate – without distorting or clipping the input signal.

The TecAmp PAD power amps represent state-of-the-art technology. Incoming signals are reproduced as dynamically and exactly as possible while at the same time highest efficiency is paired with an extremely lightweight construction. PAD power amps are based on “Pulse Wave Modulation” with an efficiency of over 95 %. When our PAD power amp delivers 500 watts of audio to the speakers, it just draws 527 watts from the power source, which means that only 27 watts are dissipated in heat – as opposed to something like 250 watts with conventional power amps. This is the reason for the extremely high efficiency of our PAD power amps.

Gigantic heat sinks, loud fans, oversized power transformers and heavy capacitors belong to the past. PAD power amps deliver up to 1500 watts of output power at just 15 lbs. If this wasn’t all, PAD power amps offer breathtakingly dynamic response and attack unheard-of before

This is a high-end digital amp made by TecAmp. It was 2000€ new, I am selling for 950€/1250$ International shipping rates are low, 55$ to the US

This baby has 1500W Power with minimum weight!

The amp has two channels which supply 750W @ 4 Ohm. Each channel has two speakon outputs. The bridged mode has two outputs and can supply 1500 W @ 8 Ohm.

The amp has also a "mute" switch on the front.
