Tecamp Puma 1000

I just can't tear myself away from my Thunderfunk, so my Tecamp Puma 1000 is up for sale. Purchased new by me last year, and still in outstanding condition. This thing has HUGE sound... if you like the MarkBass LMII, this thing will knock you on your butt! Thick, warm sound with TONS of volume on tap. Specs here (http://www.tec-amp.com/index.php?id=137), but in short, it does the full 1000W into 8 ohms and will do 500W into two separate 4-ohm channels, so you could get 500W into each of two 4-ohm cabs.

For any of you folks who are looking into Greenboy's fEarful design, this is THE head for those monstrously efficient cabs that are almost all 8-ohm.

These things go for something like $1900 new. I'm looking for $1300, which includes CONUS shipping and the $100 Tecamp gig bag that is a perfect complement. No international sales, and please, no trades.

I've got the TF750. The out-of-the-box tone just suits me more. The Puma is fat, clear, and wide... basically reproduces everything in a great way. The TF has big low end, maybe slightly exaggerated midrange, and then a rolled-off treble. I can get exactly what I want out of the Puma, but with the TF, I basically just have to turn it on.

The Puma has more watts and is much easier to transport, and I get compliments on my tone at all my gigs. But the heart wants what it wants, and the TF is just my tone!

Thanks for the explanation. I've been wanting to try a T'funk but don't have any nearby and have gotten too much stuff lately to pull the trigger on something I've never heard. Good luck on your sale. The Tecamp stuff is really first rate IMHO.

The TecAmp is on hold; I've got a buyer who's working on getting his money together. If he falls through, you guys are in line, in the order you've posted. I will PM both of you when this prospective buyer makes a decision one way or the other.
