TecAmp s212 (4ohm)

SOLD

Hello guys. I have two of these and am selling one of them due to non-use.

NO TRADES

To start, I would like to try for a local sale... so DETROIT AREA, ST. LOUIS AREA, CHICAGO AREA, DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS AREA ONLY AT THIS TIME (these are the cities I either live in, gig in, or pass directly through regularly when gigging on the road).

The new price of one of these with cover is around $1,300. Local sale price with cover..... $600.

This is the original version of the s212. It has small front ports, and is voiced relatively 'tight and bright'. It is an amazing 40 pounds (so not much heavier than some 112's!), is 4ohm, and has the unique crossover switching feature... off, various levels of upper treble sparkle, and various levels of upper mid/lower treble grind. Uber high quality padded cover included.

The cab is in 9.5 out of 10 shape. The only issue is a small indentation (tolex is not torn or impacted, just a small 'dent') on the front edge that happened when the cab was originally shipped to me from Tecamp... very minor.

This cab will put out a nice amount of volume and punchy tone, and is similar in performance to most 2 x 112 stacks (i.e., between a 210 and 410 volume-wise).

I have many clips of this cab up on my iComposition and Youtube homepages.

One more bit of description... this cab would be perfect for someone who likes the sound of a neo loaded 210 cab, but needs more volume without increasing size and weight. Volume-wise, this cab is similar to the Epifani 310UL... so, similar to the way I feel about the 310UL, I think of this cab as a 'super 210'.

Quick bump. I'll probably open up to shipping in the US eventually, but want to see if anyone in the midwest cities I list is interested first.

I'll drop the price to $550 for a local sale (as I've defined it), and will eventually relist for $600 plus shipping.

212.... 4ohm...... 40 Pounds... I'm not kidding

17 by 16 by 29... so just large enough to fit the two 12's 'in-line' with the tweeter between the two 12's. VERY small and very light (lighter than a single Aguilar DB112).

This continues to be my favorite 'ultra light small cab', but I don't need two of them... thought I might... I was wrong.

Thanks for the bump guys. Yeah, when I take the plunge on this uber expensive stuff made overseas, I know that I'm going to take a bit of a bath on resale. My pricing is based on what I think a good price is for a 212 of this quality in near perfect shape, not based on the ridiculously high new purchase price.

My THANKS to whoever bought this for saving me from tormenting over wanting it myself.

I really need to get busy and sell a few cabs before I buy a new one, or my wife will have me sleeping in my studio :-)

I'm with you, Hal about the torment. I'm glad that I just noticed this. Agony and money were saved.
