I ordered it from sweetwater about 3 years ago and its been in studio since, best sounding bass head i have played in well...3 years! It has two channels that are completely different in sound and EQ, and comes with a footpedal that lets you switch them and blend them together. If you've ever wanted the industry standard Sansamp solid state tube-emulator in head form, this is it. Im only selling it because my band bought new bass amps that i will be using from here on out, and I dont need my personal rig anymore. Plug this up to an 8 ohm cab and theres no gig it cant cover, i've even stacked 15's with it. These sell new for $900.00
This is a vid of the new tech21 head that replaced it, the only difference is the name and an extra 45 Watts(and the color), it has the same wiring as the landmark:
Tech 21 VT Bass 1969 and Ampeg SVT - YouTube
As good as it is at emulating an SVT, it also does high-fi very well, I keep the first channel set for a Jazz bass gospel sound, and the second for a Hadrien Feraud/Jaco mid push, and blend them when i need to take it over the top.
Will sell for $400 shipped and yes, it comes with the very necessary footswitch that lets you blend the channels
This is $140 under what ive found this advertised for on TB in the last two years!
No trades please, thanks for looking
