It's an awesome Double Bass cab, and a really stellar cab for electric as well.
But, GAS got the better of me.
I already have my small venue cab: Schroeder 1210.
I already have my big venue cab: Schroeder 410.
This cab kinda neatly splits the diff, and is gonna be a very fine, very dusty piece of high end gear in my arsenal.
I'd like to get $350+shipping out of it, which ought to run about $50 via fedex ground to nearly anywhere.

It might make a nice companion to my Schroeder 1212. |

24" wide, by 22" tall, by 16.5" deep...I think it wieghs about 80 lbs, and I'm in 65201 for those of you wanting to go to fedex ground and get yerself a shipping guesstimate Add about 2" each way for boxing please...
Burning: it's rated at ~850 watts at 8 ohms. While it's not "power hungry," it's not "schroeder efficient" either, but what is? It can take the Reverend's low B outta a TFB420 "at reasonable small venue volumes."
Honestly, this is not a "loud cab" like a Schroeder, it's more of a "cleaner, accurate kinda cab." I feel the schroeder 1212 is probably bigger and rounder...but the lds 5x8 is fast, punchy and accurate in a way the 1212 isn't...does that sound like a good pairing to you?

I'm thinking that while it looks great, it's probably not the box for me.
The 1212 is plenty tight for my needs, almost too punchy in some settings. I'm still battling with finding a second small cab that might compliment the 1212 with a bit of 'traditional' bottom end.
Good luck, friend...I'm sure you won't have any problem selling this cab. |

I am sorry that this cab did not work out for you, but your reasons for selling it are understandable. It's a great "medium sized" cab. But if you are inclined to bring either a small cab (or two) to a smaller gig, and a big cab (or two) to a bigger gig, I can see where this cab might not see the action that it warrants. Your descriptions are right on based upon my experience. I will add that this cab has exceptionally good midrange - fast, clear, full, balanced.
Best of luck, Tom. |

I would consider a schroeder 1212 in partial trade...
