Trace Elliot 1084 8x10 cabinet - $400 (local NJ sale)

Sign in to disble this ad
No trades. Need money for medical bills.

Up for sale is my Trace Elliot 1084 8x10 cabinet. These offer the huge sound of an 8x10 in a smaller cabinet.

Carpet covering is a bit worn but it functions perfect and sounds AWESOME. XLR jacks upgraded to Speakons and also has 1/4" jacks. Also has tilt-back handle and wheels for transporting.

This thing brings the thunder and is half the price of an Ampeg cabinet. Made in England! 4 ohms, 640 watts.

$400

I've never shipped something this large. I'm sure it's at least $100.

If you can post dimensions, weight and a zip code - we can get a rate quote from UPS and FedEx. That is IF you are willing to box it for shipping/...
FedEx will pick up at your house so you don't have to lug it to FedEx/Kinko's

Weight is gonna be tricky at home. If there's bathroom scales I'd weigh each end and add them.

shipping cost

FWIW.....
shipping on a T.E. 4x10 from NJ to Colorado was $98 and change.
An 8x10? I can't imagine the cost.

Bump for a nice cab.

Might look into shipping it greyhound. I have shipped mountain bikes that way, and it is cheap and fast. You just have to pick it up at the greyhound station.

Just FYI weight and Dims on that cab...48x27x20 145lbs.
Here are the rates to go from Trenton, NJ to Portland, OR.

FedEx First Overnight®
10:00 AM Sat Mar 26,2011 976.94

various rates depending on Service Type down to

FedEx Ground®
(5 Business Days) $147.73 not too bad

FedEx Ground plus cab cost is still a pretty dang good deal....

That's getting close to my fighting weight. If was a fighter I'd be one of those itty bitty guys. Makes mental note to never consider TE fridge ownership again.

Shipping is a killer for 810's. I just received a Boogie 810 from TX and it cost me ~260. Because it has to ship truck freight. If it's over 150 lbs the regular UPS or Fedex trucks won't take them.

Can you do a shipping estimate to 24401--VA? I have a buyer for one of my SVT 8x10s and my AH350 SMX would look great sittin on top of this cab!

Thanks,

Wiley

You can get a quote from UPS and FedEx on their website. You need to know dimensions, weight and both addresses. I just used an address from a major Hotel in Trenton.

FedEx WILL ship this 1084 as it specs at 145lbs.... btw.
