This maybe an odd listing but I just bought a TE V-Type 600H Amp from a fellow TBer for repair.
I modified a Carvin 1500L into the chassis so I have the Toridal Transformer and the Main Amp board for sale.
The original owner was told by a tech that the Transformer was the only thing that was bad,well after recieving the unit and looking at the hack work that was done by said tech to the preamp and 2 obvious bad Mosfet Transistors on the board I realized that I should test the Toridal transformer for myself.
I am getting 70.7vac from the 2 high voltage legs and 11.7vac from the 2 lower voltage legs and it is dead quiet no burnt smells so I am assuming it is good and its just the 2 transistors bad for the most part.
I am not a tech but I do dabble and I will guarantee the transformer to work or your money back and we will fiqure out what the board is worth,hopefully someone can us these parts to restore another unit. $185.00 shipped obo.
