I bought this amp in December of last year when I got back into playing bass, I don't know when it was manufactured. I used this for about 8-10 small room gigs (and one garage) before I bought my dream amps (V4,V6&V8) and my boss (wife) says "Sell some stuff so I can spend".
I've read a couple of peoples opinions that this amp is bright sounding, it has an adjustable tweeter that I actually turn off and the default setting when you turn it on is scooped. I turn off the tweeter and use the 7 band and I get a killer sound (so say the musicians that came see us when I used it)
The 715X is the big brother to the 715 and is the newer Trace yet still engineered and made in UK.
I go back and forth from combo to big rig but now I'm in the big rig time of my life until my back gives out, I get fired from the band or divorced etc.

Comes with cover, power-cord and footswitch which has a couple of small nicks from when I had it in my gig bag with my tuning pedal, yet the footswitch cord never really seated properly in the FS and I've read where some use a drop of superglue to hold it in and I tried sg and it works.
After 4 or 5 gigs I found I just dial in my sound and left it but for those that use different tones on songs or need the lead bass boost, it works great.
