SOLD SOLD SOLD-------------------SOLD SOLD SOLD------------------------SOLD SOLD

Hi,
selling my green carpet Trace Elliot AH1000-12.
"1000W of power
12-band Trace Elliot graphic equalizer
Dual-band compressor with separate hi/lo controls
Sophisticated effects loop (hi-pass/lo-pass/full range outputs, left/right/mono returns, series/parallel switch, loop level control)
Electronically balanced XLR DI outputs for pre-EQ and post-preamp left/right
Left/right line outputs
6 footswitchable features include Pre Shape, Valve, dual-band compressor, sophisticated effects loop, and output mute"

i dont have the footswitch

I purchased this head from British Audio Service two years ago. functions perfectly. one of the flip out handles on the case must've busted a spring so it doesnt swing back properly but that's pretty much this guy's only flaw. the green/blacklight works like it should.
it has a serial ending in 99, so im assuming this was during the gibson take over. Regardless of any of that. its a great, warm, loud sounding head.
I'm not a gigging musician, so i really have no excuse to be carrying this amount of power.

another thing i also wanted to include was that after maybe 5 months of purchasing it, there were some grounding issues. after taking it in to a VST Pro Audio, they said they had to re-solder "IN=DI ground lift" button (i believe, not possitive). it was making bad connection. plays perfectly after that. no humms/buzzes.

like i said, i've never really used this head to its potential. im also a college student and have to pay for tuition, so no trades. $860 shipped conus.

thanks guys. i'll post pics soon

I owned the rackmount AH1000-12. Man I miss that amp. If I had a need for 1000 watts of Trace Elliot power (about 1500 watts for anyone else ) I would consider this. This is a SERIOUSLY good sounding LOUD amp.

i agree. the power handling is rated extremely conservatively. this head has been good to me on the various projects i've played in. in combination with the 12-band eq, its an extremely versatile head. growling lows and highs to smooth warm mids for a jazzy tone.

those who are interested, please email me for pics. im unable to upload the pictures at the moment.
