If it had a black light it doesn't work. I've never opened the head. The head itself works perfectly. You can hear it on my youtube channel. All my vids were recorded using this head.

I'll get the details and a picture of the back of the head today. I haven't had a chance to get it out of my storage room.

The rackmount versions didn't come with a front panel blacklight. This is a *nice* amp by the way. If I was gigging right now this would be gone. Bump!

Bump for a great amp. I stupidly sold my RAH head a few years ago. Awesome tone, and great as a rack unit.

This is the second RAH SMX I have owned. I love the sound of the SMX series. I will probably regret selling it later, but I am really enjoying my Mesa M9 Carbine for now.

I picked one of these up last year. Loved it so much, I found another as a backup. It is my main gigging amp, and has replaced all others.

The rackmount versions of this head don't have the blacklight.
I have this head, and an AH600SMX (w/ blacklight, non-rackmount).

Absolutely stellar head, can be biamped, amazingly loud, rich tone. With the 12 band EQ, anything is possible, soundwise. The compressor is the best, most functional you will ever play in a live situation.
