I took this on a trade and I tried it for a while. It's a great amp and crazy loud, super aggressive. I want to try something different.
Built in November 2009. This thing is absolutely mint. Not a scratch anywhere except on the INSIDE surfaces of the holes in the rack ears. No issues at all. I know there are lots of TB'ers in the GTA, so anyone local can come to test drive it and knock your fillings out.
My main gigging amp is an SVT-VR and I traded my backup amp head for this M6. My tastes are firmly planted in tube-land, though trades don't have to be all-tube amps.
Would be interested in anything thicker and more wooly sounding.
Not opposed to a preamp/poweramp component setup. Would prefer to stay within the 20-25 lbs range. Having said that, a rack tube amp like a 400, 400+, SVTII, SVTII-pro might tempt me. I know, that makes no sense.
Also into fender, lakland 4 string p-basses.
