Modified....
Asking $350 (+/-)..
But really looking for a trade of a higher wattage mini.. Very interested in an Ampeg pf500. Or something with dual input (EA mini)..
Prefer face to face in Bos/ Prov/ Worcester area.
pics.. as requested
Interested in potentially trading for TC/ Mark/ EA/ etc.. or other newer style amps mini/ hybrid types.
I could REALLY use an amp capable of dual input...
In mass/ ri area available for test drives and face to face trading.

I really like the amp and have for years. if I can replace it with something that I like better, it makes it a lot easier to let go of..

To be honest, having now done the Markbass F1 thing, my tonal preferences have gone back to the Electric Blue. The Markbass is a great head, but to me, the SWR's open tone allows the voice of my passive basses to sing. Can't beat the micros for convenience, and they're fab for gigging. But the SWR is a definitive tone machine.

I do not believe there is a better sounding bass head on the market for this price. Even though they retailed at $899.00-$999.00 before they stopped production. I will never sell mine, and if it ever blows up (knock on wood), I will do my best to buy another.
I use mine for Jazz gigs, at Church, and anything I can without taking my big rig.

Front cover is in vg shape and included.
I have never noticed if this has a fan or not. There are vents in the top, but I never noticed if there is a fan or not.
I will check and report back.

I will check and report back. | I don't think any of these ever came stock from SWR with a fan but I modified mine with a pair of fans to cool the heatsink. It wasn't really required but I like to keep my Amos as cool as can be just in case. |
