in great working order! ( a little rough cosmetically) the mojo tone that lives today in the thunderfunk! This makes a tremendous small gig/practice studio/homepractice head! light, loud and TONE-ful

1) AMP BH-260 a mini poor man's thunderfunk! 260 watts (loud), para eq, enhance, tone balance (called timbre on t-funk--worth the price of admission alone!) bi-ampable, bought from the legendary quadzilla's quad-go-round! Quad had his tech go over it and also installed a speakon out--includes speakon->1/4" adapter cord, as supplied by quad. light wt. 13# +/-

PM I received re: BH-260:

Hi,
Thought I'd fill you in on the 260. I'm Quad's tech and owned that amp at one time. Other than the speakon I did some other stuff when I had it.
I re-did the signal and power supply grounding to get rid of some interesting noise. The orig. grounding was odd. The opamps have been upgraded or changed out for new to further lower the noise. Hidden under the preamp board are a few very special paper in oil capacitors in the important positions. The only thing anyone might want to have done is change the ceramic caps in the signal path for silver mica. In all this is a special little amp. I'd buy it back if I didn't think the S.O. would kill me.
John

Bump for great gear. I was wondering if there was any easy way to rack those amps?
Thanks

yes, with the proper rack ears--sadly, I don't have any rack ears. You would need to be careful racking though as these mechanically cool through convection.
