Its been awhile since I've posted or sold anything, but I am moving and its time to clear some space...as well as owing taxes for the first time in my life and having a baby on the way.

I am offering up my Traynor YBA 200-2. This is the one with the upgraded tube path, aka the one to own.


Of all of the bass amps I have owned over the past 10 years, this has been the one I kept the longest and enjoyed the most. I bought the amp here about 2 years ago and I used it sparingly in a garage rock band and for an occasional gig. I babied this piece of gear. It was always kept in my house or at my climate controlled practice space. Always adult owned and never played by anyone but me.

I'll upload personal pics of the amp after the weekend, but I wanted to make this available to everyone now.

I was torn between getting this and the VB2 at the time, and ultimately decided on this for the headroom.

Unfortunately, in order to trade for the T-40s, I would only accept double the value of the amp...because i hate them so much.

Does this have more headroom in your opinion? I was under the opposite impression. Ive been told this has a great sound, like a mini svt, but it struggles to cut in a band. Both have their fanboys. This is $400 cheaper... whats this you say about a redesigned tube path? I know they got rid of the auto bias and switched to kt88's.

Great recordings! Nice job to whoever mixed. The bass recored very well, not as aggressive as my taste, but thats a matter of eq preference. I have to decide, if its still here then its meant to be.
