Traynor YBA-200 w/extra Tubes

Up for sale only (no trades) is a Traynor YBA-200 all tube bass amp. It is in immaculate condition. No rips, to tears, no dings. Even the hardware is in good shape. 100% Fully Functioning.

I am selling because I already have an all-tube bass amp (Peavey Classic400), and I need to fund the recent purchase of a laptop.


I am including an assortment of virtually brand new, and used (stock) pre-amp tubes. Includes the following:

2 x Electro-Harmonix EH12AY7
*Brand New* I bought these from TubeDepot.com and only installed one, for maybe 3 minutes, to test out the difference in gain.

2 x NOS JAN Phillips 12AT7
*Brand New* I bought these from Partsexpress.com and tried them in V1 and V2, and liked them best. They have maybe 2hrs of playing time on them.

2 x Sovtek 12AX7WH
*Used* These are the stock pre-amp tubes that came with the amp.

With all of these pre-amp tubes, you can experiment with a GANG of different sounds, and gain combinations. Something like 36 different V1 and V2 combinations you can use with all of these pre-amp tubes!
The amp really does have a different character with the different tubes. I like the 12AT7 combination best, but you may find a completely different arrangement to your liking.

Of course comes with stock Sovtek 6550WE's (Sound great, plenty of life), and the power cable. It will be packaged very nicely with "foam in place" urethane packaging.


I am NOT willing to entertain international offers, or offers other than to the LOWER 48. Shipping will be via UPS Ground. Or a local pickup is always welcome, I'm in NE Ohio.

BUMP... for an item at a price that ive been waiting for.... but at the point where im inbetween jobs.. means this is my BIG loss... hope this goes to someone soon so i dont need to see this and get depressed about.. hah great amp guys.... someone get it!!! ALL TUBE HEAD for under 600$!!

according to yorkville`s website, these come with a 2 year warranty and is transferable...any warranty time left?

also, curious about the gain/master volume pot and taper of the pot....does it get loud real quick or is there a smooth taper as the gain/master volume pot is turned?

To be honest, I'm not sure when the warranty will pass. Is there a way I can check that via serial #?

The gain controls are definitely log scale. Very smooth transition to max gain, but the 60%-90% window is where it's at (with the pre-gain). The different pre-amp tubes make a HUGE difference in how the gain controls act/react.
