Traynor YBA200 Upgraded in Toronto

Up for sale is my beloved Traynor YBA200. I bought it used from Long and McQuade this past winter. It was my first tube amp and I absolutely babied it. Well I’ve been bit by the tube monster and I’m selling some gear to save up for a different head. Here are the specs for the YBA-200:
• 200 watt All-Tube Bass Amplifier
• 4x KT88 power tubes, 2x 12AX7A and 1x 12AU7 preamp tubes
• 3-band Master EQ with Range Control
• Innovative Scoop and Resonance Controls
• 1/4-inch Tuner Output with System Mute Switch
• Switchable Pre/Post XLR D.I. Out with Ground Lift & 20dB Pad

When I bought the head from Long and McQuade, they sent it back to Traynor and Traynor upgraded the biases to the fixed bias. They also replaced two caps and replaced two KT88s. This was all around 6 months ago so there’s tons of life left in the tubes.

I’m selling the amp with 2 Sovtek 12AX7s and the Electro Harmonix 12AU7 it came stock with.

Regarding shipping, I will split the cost of shipping to the lower 48 US states and split the cost of shipping to anywhere in the Canadian provinces. Feel free to PM me for a quote for shipping. I will remove the tubes for shipping and package them well.

I would also do a local sale anywhere in the greater Toronto area.

I used it in two different bands. One band plays a sort of top 40, acoustic type thing. Lots of Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis and Eddie Cochran. With my P bass palm muted with a pick, this amp absolutely captures that Eddie Cochran bass sound.

The second band does mostly alternative rock from the 90's. The Traynor roared on the old Bush tunes (remember Gavin Rossdale???) and could get that deep powerful bass that many Lenny Kravitz songs are known for.

Overall it does the rock and roll thing really well.
