I'm posting this in Amps, as I see it as more appropriate than in Accessories.
I've got six pairs of brand new Mesa Boogie 6L6 tubes, still in their boxes. These are their brand new tubes that they helped design with their tube making partner (in China, methinks), and they sound damn good in Mesa amps. I stuck a set of these in my Strategy 500 power amp (also for sale here), and they sounded better than the older Svetlanas that I had in there previously. These are labeled as STR440.
Mesa sent these to me for my upcoming tour with The Black Eyed Peas, but I never got to use them. Since I'm finally letting go of my tube rig, these are up for sale.
These would be around $400 for the set at retail, so I'm selling them for $200. At this point, I'd rather not split them up, as shipping them all over the place would be a pain in the cuss. If you want to retube your 400+ or similar rig, this is the way to go. Hit me! |
