V8 Trace Elliot V8 !!! The ultimate cure for G.A.S. SOLD!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

Bass Amp Holy Grail 5 day sale! The cure for G.A.S. !!!
Insanity is taking over again. I'm considering selling my prized Trace Elliot V8!
This may be the only mint one left. NEVER GIGGED! Maximum of 7 hours total play time on it. I also recently had it fully checked over by Andy Fuchs. The serial number puts it as one of the last 10 made before Gibson shut production down. Only about 80 ever made!

I'm only considering selling it because It's just sitting in it's case and not being used. I am on vacation this week (home), and would be willing to drive a little for a local pickup. Usually at a GC parking lot is best. Wayne or Paramus, NJ area is where I am. It comes with 2 new Roadie (Anvil type) road cases and a custom made XLR to Speakon 3' speaker cable. Local pickup is strongly preferred.

This is not a must sell. Just an opportunity since I'm home all week. The V8 is a monstrous 400+ watts of all tube goodness. Equalled by none.
If someone really wants a mint V8, this may be your only chance. I could change my mind at any time and pull the ad down as well.

I am asking a premium price for a premium amp.
$4599 local pickup. Sorry, no trades at all. Paypal only. This will not go off to ebay either. This is for my Talkbass friends only. If it doesn't sell, then it stays with me, where it probably belongs anyway.

is this a practice amp?
seems ideal for a small studio apartment with VERY thin walls...

if i sell my car would you finance the other half?

ok, enough sarcasm.
that's the cat's pajamas without a doubt!

Thank you all for the compliments on the V8 Monster. Going into the weekend, I haven't changed my mind yet. Ad still up.

A practice amp? Of course! Probably the most expensive practice amp though. At just about $11.49 per tube watt, it would then be a boutique practice amp that just happens to have 8 KT88 power tubes in it.

Your amp is the nicest one I have EVER seen. (It's nicer than the one's the OX owned, and I saw his)

I recently sold my V8 and I still lie in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep at night.

Thanks. I would highly recommend getting 2 of these amps. There is actually one for sale on ebay UK right now. You could then possibly be the only person on the planet with 2 of them.

Thank you very much, but if I do sell mine, is this what I have to look forward to??? "I recently sold my V8 and I still lie in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep at night."

I'll leave it available for 3 more days, since that's the same amount of time the one on ebay UK is available. 1 for each country.

Seems that I missed the deadline. Is the amp still available, and if so, would you do international shipping heading towards the Netherlands?
