Exclamation Very Cool and Rare Rig For Sale (you prob won't see one of these again)!

Sign in to disble this ad
A very clean and fully functional AMP BH420 with a super rare AMP XB-15 cab. The cab comes enclosed in it's own road case which doubles as a stand AND bottom enclosure (becomes part of the cab unit as the two work together and a foam seal is in between them).

The factory speaker was replaced with a USA made Eminence Kappa a few years ago and it works rather well.

The first two pictures are borrowed from our good TBer Brad Johnson which is the only other person I can think of that has one of these ultra rare rigs. I just wanted to show what the rig looked like stacked (first pic) and also with the cab in the road case (second pic).

My actual head and cab are in pics 3 - 5. I have the grill for the cab (not pictured) and it will come with the unit. I'm in the Baltimore area which is close to DC, PA, DE, VA, and can meet you. No shipping. $549 for the whole rig!!!!

Forgot to add that I will consider local trades for basses of equal or greater value.

Flashbacks of the 80s!...I remember playing through a rig just like that one at Sightsinger Music in SoCal in the mid 80s and was really impressed by the tone and the volume of it. That one looks to be in prime shape!
Bump, and Quad is a great guy, you won't go wrong with this one!

AMP

Hokey Smokes Batman!!!!! This is only the 2nd AMP BC-15 Cabinet I have ever seen.... and I'M OLD! The other one is sitting in my basement. BTW, mine doesn't have the aluminum edging which to me is a vast improvement over the standard unprotected lap joints. Nice looking cabinet and a piece of R&R history. These were ridiculously expensive when first released (I remember), that's why you just don't see them.

BTW........ the amp alone is worth the asking price. Just price a Thunderfunk. Cheers, Ken

Bump! Again, local trades for basses also considered!
Oh and as an update the cab may possibly be selling locally and if that occurs, I'll ship the head.
