Vintage Laney K50B 50W combo amp

KEEPING - ADDING 10" Basslite and port, will be a great combo for my daughter to use.

Vintage 1970's Laney K50B 50W amplifier with soft clip distortion

Amp is fully functional with the exception of Input 1 which does not work. Has tons of tone including extremely full low end, and lots of brightness available, or not depending how you set the EQ.

Cabinet chassis is in great condition for it's age. Missing two corner protectors and the original handle has been replaced. Otherwise no significant damage.

Original 15" speaker is blown and has been removed, but can be included for free if you are interested in a recone.

Amp head can be removed and Plexiglas top/bottom (included) can be installed for use out of the combo cabinet.

Combo cabinet would be an excellent project cabinet. Cut for a sealed 15" driver with about 1 cubic foot internal volume, a smaller speaker could easily be installed by using a baffle adapter. There is
space for a 19" W x 10" D x 4.5" H head, perfect for a 2U rack head once rack rails are installed.

I've been using the head with a bass guitar through an 8 ohm Mesa PowerHouse 2x12 cabinet, works and sounds great! Seems MUCH louder than the 50W advertised spec.

SALE: $99 OBO + shipping Happy to ship at buyers expense. KEEPING - ADDING 10" Basslite and port, will be a great combo for my daughter to use.

TRADE: Two Shure SM57 or SM58 mics, 8 XLR snake with box.

Head installed in combo cabinet

Head removed from cabinet, and with Plexiglas top/bottom installed.

Empty cabinet
