VINTAGE LANG PEQ2 SOLID STATE EQUALIZER

Sign in to disble this ad
$2000.00 in great condition and comes with original manual . This Vintage Solid state parametric equalizer from the late 60’s was Lang’s answer to the Solid state Pultec's EQP1A3 and sound as good if not better than the Eqp1A3's. Many engineers actually prefer them to Pultecs, because of the 20K setting (for more airy vocals) and because they sound a tad cleaner than Pultec's and have a tighter bottom. I find the Lang more flexible as it can offer a different tone if you start playing with its gain trim amplifier (located at the center of the Lang logo on the faceplate) using a small screwdriver, an option not available on the EQP1A3. Take a look at both Pultec & Lang's spec sheet to compare both eq's frequency points. Peq2's are an absolute killer on vocals, guitar, bass and overheads! Google the PEQ2 and see the array of high end studio’s who use this as a recording staple. They sell for over 3 grand on e-bay…when you can find one!

Just selling one lang, I took 2 different sets of photo's to try to get better shots. Here are 2 that didn't make the cut, sorry for the confusion. I play bass well, but i'm not much of a pho-tog.
