$2200 shipped.

I am the original owner and this great amp is not getting enough use by me.

800 watts at 8 ohm, 1200 watts at 4 ohm.

Hit me if you have questions. I think I have the original owners manual somewhere...

Serial number = 050503

I think the last two digits indicates year build.

I honestly don't remember, but '03 seems right.

Thanks for the interest.

This should be gone by now, a killer price, single owner, looks like it is in great condition and the fact that Walter is taking a year hiatus to relocate his workshop... this should be sold. I just wish I was able to be thee cat to pick it up.

Thanks j-raj

Yup, this amp is in perfect working order. In fact, just took it out on a doubling gig last night... having 2 preamps channels = life is good! And... the magic is still in the Send Mix knob.

I had a mid '80's MI-100-8 and it was built like a tank and was clear as a bell and weighed 5-6 pounds. He is a great cat to talk to and knows his stuff very well.

WW love

Bump for this.
I've had this exact same amp for more than 10 years now and I've used it almost every day. It's never failed me. Ever.
Yes, it is expensive. Yes, there are now other amps out there with similar size and weight statistics that are cheaper... but I still recommend this amp over any other micro head because of it's flexibility and reliability.
If you can come up with the clams, this is an incredible investment in a tool that will serve you for many, many years to come.

PS get a decent passive DI box like a Radial JDI, a Whirlwind Director, etc. to use with this. Walter recommends using a passive DI box for a good reason. And yes. I don't understand why, but the send knob is almost like a tube simulator with nothing plugged in to the effects loop. Good thing for trying to get vintage-ish sounds out of a very clean preamp.

I have a copy. Anyone who needs it can feel free to PM me.

Walter's amps are expensive because they're worth it. They're all I used during the last years I was playing electric bass, and I never had a single problem. Ever. Great guy too.

they might seem expensive at first, but they last long enough as 3 amps would, so you really are getting bargain.

It's like Mercedes during the 80's, they were built well and durable enough to outlast 3 regular cars, so in-turn you were getting 3 cars worth of value.

if Mr. Woods would not be such an anti-europe guy and would tell me if my WW would get broken "I will not repair it because I don't want somebody outside the US will play my amp" - I would maybe have bought it

(that "I-will-not-repair-it-because-you-should-not-play-it" story happened to a friend of mine)

good luck with the sale
