Worlds Smallest 2x12

Sign in to disble this ad
FS/FT Tech Soundsystems C-2000.

Schroeder-style 2x12 with angled 12 behind the front baffle. This company is now Tech-Amp, and is still making great products. This cab is from the early 2000's, and probably provided some inspiration to Jorg Schroeders angled-baffle designs (1210/1212/1515). After owning this cab for a while, I was inspired to try a 1212, which has become my main cab.

This cab is even smaller than the 1212, at 21.5"wide x 14.5"tall x 16" deep. It weighs in at 53 lbs., so it is a hefty little sucker for it's dimensions. It sounds very similar to my 1212 (no surprise there), but with less volume and low end. It is quite punchy, and full sounding.

This cab is unique, in that it's the only one I've seen that doesn't have a tweeter ( the CT-2000 model does).

The rest of the specs are...

8 ohms

250 watts rms

50-13,000 hz ( the 13,0000 is wishful thinking with no tweeter, but thats what it says)

FS for $200.00 + actual shipping charges ( US only).

FT for lightweight (under 35 lbs. ) 1x12 WITH tweeter or 1x10 WITH tweeter. Ideally an older Schroeder mini12+ with the angled baffle. The only large 1x12 I'd consider is a Mesa Powerhouse ( high on my GAS list).

Super-specific bass trade-bait would be... A white Yamaha Motion-B WITHOUT the micro-tuning bridge.

This cab is in very good, clean condition, with just some scrapes on the plastic corners, and some carpet pilling.

Any questions, just ask.

I am seriously wondering what this would sound like coupled with my Markbass 2x10 combo amp .... Any one have a similar setup? Out of curiousity, what would shipping be to Indianapolis, 46220?
