Yamaha PB1 now FS/FT UPDATE

Sign in to disble this ad
I have for sale a Yamaha PB1 in great shape. A couple things about it. It has been completely gone thru cleaned and tuned up this is what was done. Balanced output level was replaced as it was broken. Input jack has been replaced as it also was broken. You may notice from the pictures that the power on red L.E.D. is gone and there is a switch in its place, the switch acts just like a footswitch to turn the parametric EQ on and off or you can also plug a footswitch in and do it that way. The power on L.E.D. is by the power switch and is now BLUE. The tech who did this did all of it as a gift to me for some work that we traded out. The BLUE L.E.D. was done to match the L.E.D on my MarkBass LMII. It sounds very good. Its not doing me any good as it is just sitting and if its not being used it needs to go!(thats my motto)

$175 shipped in the USA

UPDATE: Trade for a Direct Box

big pb1 love
nice clear solid tone from these puppies. Last night ran my PB1-> 300W from power amp into a Bergantino HT210 at a dub rehearsal and it sounded great. The main things I'd like to change is more power for a cleaner sound and some 15" speakers for oomph.
this is an excellent pre for a modular rig. by the apparent build quality they seem like they'll work for forever. and a bargain at 175!

Great preamp - I actually prefer its tone to my Mesa 400+

Somebody buy this great preamp at a good price. They don't come up for sale very often and they are like land -- they're not making any more of them.

I used one for years and only got rid of it when i got away from a rack set-up. Really warm sound for a SS pre, not to mention a great DI and all the other connectivity if you need it.
