I'm a little reluctant to do this, but new gear is calling and I really don't need two of these. I believe I am the 3rd owner, and I've had it for about 3 years. I used it all the time when I was doing a house gig, but now that I've got a road gig its been sitting at home. It works and functions 100%. This amp is everything TBer's who've played them rave about. IMO the best sounding amp I've ever used/heard, its just fantastic!
I replaced the power tubes not long before I stopped using it so they have plenty of life left. The preamp tubes are the original TAD's, and the power tubes are JJ EL34's that sound great.
There are a few things to point out on the amp. There is a ding in the top left corner that happened when a previous owner sent it to Sadowsky for a retube. I think it just took a bump during shipping to the shop. I got the amp shortly after that. The ding on top happened the first day I got it. I was too impatient to wait another day till it got put in a rack
. I don't even remember how it happened. These are cosmetics issue that in no way affect the performance of the amp.
I do have an original box with all the packing, and a copy of the manual. I have the rack ears, power cable, and a speakon speaker cable to go with it too.
I'm asking
$2700+shipping. I prefer using Paypal as well. I'm trying to raise funds for another purchase, but there are a few very specific trades I'd consider:
-A Sadowsky Ultra Vintage Jazz w/ matching headstock
-60's era Fender P's and J's(I prefer pre-CBS, but it never hurts to try) + or - $ depending on what it is.
