*FS: Akai MFC42 Sample & Hold Rack Unit*

Today I'm looking to sell a Woolly Mammoth. It was made in '04, but I had it modded for an LED and a 9v jack. It's in good condition with only a COUPLE of very minor paint chips. I'll try to post a video of it tomorrow. SOLD!!!



Next up for sale is an Akai MFC42. This is an analog filterbank unit, 2 rackspace, that can be run in mono or stereo. It's main use would be for Sample and Hold "arpeggiation". It can also be controlled by ASDR or synced with MIDI. I'm selling this for $300 shipped to the con US. Clip here.

Thanks Spanky. You should really describe this filter in more detail for people. Saying "It's main use would be for Sample and Hold". doesn't even begin to describe the features on this device.

If I recall correctly, this filter has an LFO (with tap tempo) that can modulate the filter cutoff frequency or resonance using multiple wave forms. The resonance will drive the filter into self oscilation too , which is cool. It can be also be controlled by midi, which is a really nice feature to have on a somewhat complicated device such as this.

I can't recall if it will modulate the filter proportional to the audio input level (e.g. envelope filter).

All of the above is my recollection of the features from memory. I could be incorrect.

Guys, you can use this on bass, too. It doesn't have to be used just on synth. It's comparable to the Robotalk's "arpeggiator".
