For sale/trade is a
Demeter BEQP-1 onboard preamp, removed from my Roscoe LG-3005, purchased July/2006. I installed an Audere preamp instead, so this one must go.
All the control pots, output jack and battery clips (for 18V operation) are already pre-wired, the only actual wiring needed is for hooking up the pickups and grounding. I'll draw a simple diagram to show how to wire the pickups.
The preamp goes with 3-band EQ (Mid, Stacked Treble/Bass with knobs from the Roscoe), BUFFERED inputs, balance and master volume pots. One special feature is a Roscoe customized mid switch, to control the band width ("Q") of mid.
The sound is very transparent and clean with a lot of headroom, I've found the mid control is extra musical and useful. The only reason to replace that is I need passive treble control for the bass.
