On Hold for Wileee!
OK folks, people are selling these for $250ish - $450ish +shipping "Buy It Now" on Evil Bay. That's just crazy (IMHO)! How about a nice one for less than half that price? According to the info I've found, this case was used on Fender basses from 1972 through the mid or late 70's. She's in good shape overall. She's VERY solid. Interior is in GREAT shape. There are a few tears in the tolex. You can see where there were some stickers on it at some point in it's life.
Hinges are solid. The latches that are there are solid and fully functional. There is one missing piece to one latch. I found the real G&G replacement kits for just $15 here --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160344651738 and these come with more extra parts than you need incase you have another issue down the road.
Metal feet on hinges side are all there. Two missing feet on the bottom broad side (see pics) but it does not effect anything. Price? How about $110?!?! That's way cheap for one of these.
Pic of $15 kit linked in description above (not included in this sale):
Updated pics below with a P bass in the case. There is a little bit of a gap on the side, but I think that it's a P case (not a J case). I don't have a J here to tell for sure. Oh, My Ibby ATK fits well in this case as well.
