Well it's sort of a 1974. One half is 1974. The other half is Early 80's. Both USA Fender. I've never even hooked it up, but I was told when I got it, that it needed a rewind but for all I now it may just be the solder joints. As you prob know, early 70's pickups fetch hundreds. Given it prob needs a rewind and one half is early eighties, how about just $35 shipped for a very quick sale???
The previous owner told me that the tone was absolutely killer and even played recordings for me at the time which sounded amazing. He said that the tone and output was VERY even between the two. Magnets still seem very strong when holding metal near them. Most rewinds don't cost much. For all I know, it's just the solder joints as they look suspect. Not sure, but for just $35 shipped, you may get lucky.
