(2) Redeemer Circuit Preamps

$75 each.
The REDEEMER circuit has an innovative, new design which beats the specs of everything else in existence – even pre-amps costing hundreds of dollars more. Designed especially for guitar and bass (any instrument with a pick-up) the REDEEMER eliminates tone loss caused by the interaction between your instrument’s electronics and the loading effect of your cable and FX pedals or amplifier. The REDEEMER lets you hear the full spectrum of sound and tone of your instrument.

IMPROVED NOTE CLARITY
Individual notes within chords are heard with greater detail - harmonics jump right out!

ENHANCED SUSTAIN
Notes ring out longer because the pickups have been “unloaded” from the tone-killing effect of cable capacitance.

QUICKER TRANSIENT ATTACK
The guitar becomes very responsive to the players picking velocity and strength... This is something you will feel!

ULTRA LINEAR AND TRANSPARENT
The timbre of the instrument stays consistent, especially when “rolling back” the volume controls! No loss of high frequencies when you turn down your instruments volume - It's like having a master volume that keeps your tone the same at any volume level.

PLUG DIRECTLY INTO THE LINE INPUT ON A MIXER
Because the output impedance is less than 300ohms the circuit can easily drive a line input for going direct to a mixer.
This results in a clear, full range of tone that sounds better than using a direct box for live or recording applications.

SUPER AUDIOPHILE SPECS:
Flat frequency response: 10 hz-50 khz!
Noise floor: -118 dB!
Distortion: 0.0009%

Input Impedance: > 2M ohms
Output Impedance: < 300 ohms
Current Draw: < 2.5mA

Power: operates from 9v to 18v

Phase response: between +/- 0.1 degree from 20Hz to 20kHz

Dimensions: 0.4" x 0.8" x 1.6" (metric = 1.0 cm x 2.0 cm x 4.0 cm) and a 9 volt battery

Sounds intriguing... So the redeemer is not a preamp? Does it give the bass an "active" feel, or does it still sound passive?

My experience with active basses is usually bad. I think they tend to sound muddy and "slow". With the Redeemer I notice more clarity and a volume boost. I'd say it is MUCH more passive sounding than any other preamp option. It is also particularly good if you run long signal chains.

So no battery clips? Is the jack still wired up?

Wow...good eye. I didn't even think about it. When I got it removed, he must of just clipped it at the end. Price Drop...$50 each.
