This is a beautiful playing and sounding neck, a 2006 Fender Hwy One, and I'm pretty sure this has the graphite reinforcement rods. It looks good too, but in the interest of full disclosure, part of the face of the machine head has been refinished (idiotic soldering iron accident on the work bench believe it or not). Anyway, I burned a hole in the finish and sanded and refinished the area (with poly), south and east of the G string tuner hole. It looks pretty good but not perfect, however, most people probably would never notice. Also, for whatever reason, when I was wet-sanding the face of the peghead, a finish crack
(in the finish only!) developed at the screw hole for the string tree. It will not show up in the photos, I tried.
Other that its a beautiful neck without much wear at all, and is going to be very nice for someone. Good truss rod, and the neck is very stable. I've never had to adjust it very much.Truss rod adjustment at the body end.
It pains me to have to part out the Jazz bass, but I need cash. I'm saving every piece of hardware so I can put together another Jazz bass someday.
