Well the good news is that Ultralights may have already have been on your bass. Like I told you when you were at my house, I had gotten Ultralights from the previous owner already on either that bass or one of my other P's because of a slight neck dive issue. So if it was yours, then she already has some small pilot holes under the stock tuners ready to go for Ultralights.

Still can't remember for sure because I took the Ultralights off of whichever bass it was right when I got it and put the stock tuners back on. I bought two P's around that same time, a black one and yours. It was one of the two.

Well if it was not yours, then you will have to drill some very small holes for the Ultralight screws (one per tuner).

It is mine that has the pilot holes, so I figured that someone had the same thing in mind once. I tried one of the Ultrlights off of that new MIA Standard and it addressed the issue perfectly. A full set will shave off 5 ounces at the headstock, making this a true lightweight with a heavy thud.

Thanks for the tips! Someone else will get a great set of tuners from you here. Hipshot is a really great company.

Had no idea. They used to cost a lot more. I lowered the price a lot just now. If I can't get that, I'll prob just keep them. No biggie. I'm sure that I'll find a use for them down the road.
