I got the bass from a TB'er and already had a Fender Standard neck that needed a body, so this neck came off with very little playing time at all on the frets. Actually, I cannot see any evidence that the bass was played at all. No nicks, no damage, totally clean. Includes tuners and nut.
I have been building/parting out basses for over 35 years. yes, I am old.
But to my point, the profile on this neck, and the playability reminds me of the early Charvel or Warmoth necks. I would say the profile is close to a vintage "V" shape, and it is thin front to back. In short, it is a very comfy and a very fast neck.
I was able to adjust the truss rod to achieve VERY low action. Had I not had the American Standard neck, I would have been comfortable gigging with this bass total stock.
